Pictures and spam

I didn't realize my spam filter here at Blogger had so much stuff in it.  I thought I might share it with you for the yok value, while showing you yet more bunny pictures from Sunday.

SPAM #1: From the very same Martin World News post (from December 2014) that brought you "Beavers cause global warming" came this bitcoin of advice:

Did you consider using the ultimate Bitcoin exchange service: YoBit

No, but thank you for asking.  Now tell me what I was supposed to use it FOR...

At the neighbors on the way out

Wait!  Come back, damnit!

SPAM #2:  From a picture post that also told the "radon detector story" back in June (an experience, BTW, that they are making us REPEAT soon for God knows what reason), comes this bit of fun in Polish:

Ale wybudowanie pola to tylko połowa sukcesu. My web page 1szy Łódzki Klub Golfowy, Klub Golfowy, Łódź,golf Łódź

Or, to put it another way:

But building a field is only half the success. My web page is the 1st Lodz Golf Club, Golf Club, Łódź, golf Łódź

I'm guessing that means someone in Poland would like to build a golf course down by the PFW footbridge across the river.  It'd have to be a Putt-Putt course...

The young Red-Tail was out and about.... likely also looking for bunnies...

SPAM #3:  And on this one- the late Lutheran Health post from a few weeks back- I think him lying to me, or maybe am Bizzarro:

Ahaa, its pleasant discussion about this paragraph here at this webpage, I have read all that, so at this time me also commenting here. Feel free to surf to my site :: game guardian 6.0 5 apk download

"Pleasant seems an odd term to me, but in Bizzarro World, perhaps... certainly it doesn't carry the same stigma with those princes at CHS...

Hawk...

...swallow.  See the difference?

SPAM #4 :  From a recent Sunday Message, they CLAIM they got something out of it, but I'm thinking it was just a "butt-in-the-pew" moment:

I blog frequently and I seriously thank you for your information. Your article has really peaked my interest. I am going to bookmark your site and keep checking for new information about once per week. I subscribed to your RSS feed as well

Well, if you do stop by once a week, you might actually get something out of it.  Any more regularly you might get posts on spam....

Gamma-irradiated amphibian

SPAM# 5 and 6:  It's nice when they start with a friendly greeting:

Hello, always i used to check website posts here in the early hours in the daylight, since i love to gain knowledge of more and more.

Hello to all, it's actually a pleasant for me to visit this web page, it contains valuable Information.

One from the long ago Beach Boys 50th anniversary review, the other from the not so long ago getting to know me bloghop.  Glad to know my posts contain more information near dawn than later in the day.  I ought to be able to work with scheduling to fix that.  That way you won't have to get up so early to get a pleasant here.

God's best cathedral

SPAM# 7,8,and 9:  And then you have the people that just wanna use me for a billboard:

Expert plastic extrusion companies serve the vital function of creating specific shapes out of hard plastic that are used to make various other products like tubing, casing, and more. * Ram Extruder. This heated plastic is also kept moving rapidly to prevent any premature hardening or deformities on the finished product.

(This was also on the Beach Boys post, although it might have been more timely on the post about the tower that burned in the UK...)

There ya go, fake spam jerseys from fake china!  They, like me sometimes, really need to get a handle on when to capitalize.

Currently it seems like Expression Engine is the best blogging platform out there right now. (from what I've read) Is that what you're using on your blog?

So Expression engine is a thing, developed by EllisLab out of Bend, Oregon ( which all I know about is that they used to have a Reds rookie league team).  Wiki adds this info:

ExpressionEngine is the company's flagship software product. It is a general purpose content management system written in object-oriented PHP and using MySQL for data storage.
ExpressionEngine is a commercial product, but has a free "core" version available for personal and non-profit websites, albeit with fewer features.[3] Although a license fee is required to use the full version of ExpressionEngine, it does not provide access to EllisLab's support plans, which must be purchased separately.

So you have to buy the full version, and THEN buy support to make it work.  Maybe that's why EE has 46K live users and 48 K former users.  Blogger has in the millions, BTW.

Waiting for us to come home on the front sidewalk...

SPAM # 10:  And from the latest Sunday Message:

Nice respond in return of this matter with firm arguments and telling all concerning that

Bizzarro am mad that you like him post.

  1. Nice pix. I should probably post a listing of my spam folder, but I never read it. Last time I opened a spam email, three of my Internet web security applications went off and locked up my Internet connection for thirty minutes.

    1. Well, since these are comments, there's nothing to open, so no computers were killed in the making of this post. However, some of them didn't even have links, so I wonder what the point is.

  2. Chris:
---Excellent photos as usual (glad the batteries are charged up).
---Love the spams you get...so "inventive".
All I get are in Yahell email from various AND sundry "dating" websites from the .top domains (that you cannot block for some odd reason).
Well, those AND ray-bans and uggs BS (sorry, not into "wearable tech" these days...got the trusty sonic.
---Oh, yeah, I see the difference between the swallow and the hawk...the swallow is on a FENCE and the hawk is on a POLE (and never the twain shall meet). Got it.
---Gamma-irradiated amphibians...you mean something like FRULKS?
---ROFL on the Bizarro references...glad to know that the world is STILL cube-shaped.

    Great post.

Stay safe (and radon-free) up there, brother.

    1. I almost made it to "Frulks", but chose against.

You don't have a Blogger spam thing on yer comment section? I never opened mine the first four years...

  3. I've had a sudden increase in spam comments, and all on 2 specific posts. You'd think the morons in charge of those things would have realized by now that (a) they're not hitting current/active posts; and (b) LITERALLY NO ONE thinks they're real comments.

I wish the wildlife would sit still for me. Great pics of the hawk!!

    1. Better than what I went through with a former follower who decided my politics wasn't to her liking. We'd followed each other for a couple of years when we split, and one day a spammer started hitting EVERY POST she ever wrote twice a day for two weeks. I had to individually unsubscribe from each post. Total spams had to be in the thousands...
