Wow.
Never though...I think your take is correct.

Wow.

Never thought I'd type that here on a religious piece. :)Julihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10097214923216967086noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5822869016413307981.post-77985407859860037542013-06-30T18:55:49.857-04:002013-06-30T18:55:49.857-04:00But of course, I sent a link to the Freedom from R...But of course, I sent a link to the Freedom from Religion guys. It never fails to amaze me how quickly a group that considers themselves so intelligent turns to insults so quickly, and how hard it is to get "free thinkers" to consider a viewpoint beyond their own.

Why did I do that? Well, as I told one gentlemen who did a thought-out (and relatively insult-less) critique on his blog, "I had two reasons- one good, one maybe not so noble. The one is, I have a heartfelt faith in my beliefs, and don't want anyone to face hell. the other, that when that day comes, I would like to hear my savior say, "Do not blame, Chris; he tried to tell you." "

I am not surprised about the Marxist connection in the least. One daemonically controlled institution naturally will lead to the next.

I also told my opponents that, "While I disagree, I can see your points on tax-exemption, public lands, and some other things; but I have never found an atheist willing to take a step back from their beliefs and say, "what if...". Until you can, you will never understand why I say you serve a god you won't acknowledge; you won't be able to see that we read the Bible from different perspectives; and you'll never understand why I posted here."

For myself, I can only hope that there was someone open enough to see what I did as a seed. And I'm sure there was; bread cast on the water won't come back empty. And now, once again, I can shake the dust of their city from my sandals.

Thanks for dropping by, and the support!CWMartinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06798867734074134647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5822869016413307981.post-59256996462500194152013-06-30T18:30:18.019-04:002013-06-30T18:30:18.019-04:00This was an excellent response, BROTHER MARTIN!
I...This was an excellent response, BROTHER MARTIN!

It's kinda funny that one of the most outspoken opponents of Madlyn Murray O'Hair was her son William. As author A. Ralph Epperson reminds us in his (1990) book 'THE NEW WORLD ORDER', in 1980, William O'Hair (then a Christian) publicly apologized for what his mother had done to our country in his name.

Later, in a 1988 interview, William said, "My mother was always a Marxist. She was the manager of the New Era Bookstore in Baltimore, which was and is today an official Communist Party bookstore."

Also, in a book he wrote, William O'Hair stated: "Many people identify me as being the song of atheist leader Madlyn Murray O'Hair. Granted, she is my mother, but her identification as an atheist 'leader' is not quite true. It was never her intent to be an atheist leader, but a Marxist leader."

It's interesting how at the heart of "the atheist religion and movement" we usually find Marxists. Whether we're talking Madlyn Murray O'Hair, the ACLU, or any number of other prominent atheists persons or groups, we nearly always find Marxism on the ground floor.

Good blog bit, Brother!

~ D-FensDogg
'Loyal American Underground'Stephen T.
