I follow Him because He chose me and I gratefully accepted the gift of salvation. I follow Him because He knows best, and yielding completely to Him, following His will in every way that I can, will bring glory to God's name and blessing to me. I follow Him because I want to help lost people find Him, and by following Him completely I can help point them to Him. "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."jbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08207320399924278118noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5822869016413307981.post-61204683508141866052015-12-16T15:48:04.699-05:002015-12-16T15:48:04.699-05:00I read the post twice and still can't think of...I read the post twice and still can't think of a damn thing to say so I say nothing just know I was here Jo-Anne's Ramblingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11418152399382818709noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5822869016413307981.post-59072482250995258642015-12-15T18:02:10.195-05:002015-12-15T18:02:10.195-05:00The problem as always is "acting yer motives....The problem as always is "acting yer motives." We're not MEANT to know it all...or even understand it all.
I'm okay with that.
And in our OWN lives, we're not always commissioned to take that LEAP of faith.
All we need most times is the smallest of baby steps...and to take them with that same word...faith.
After all, God looks upon us as little children, and I have never encountered ANY child that started out life as a "broad-jumper".
I think my primary reason for following Christ is because eternal damnation isn't an option. But eternal LIFE sure is.
And if God promises it, that's good enough for me, but I also know I'm going to have to WORK at it & work FOR it.

Very good post.

Stay safe up there, brother.
Bob G.https://www.blogger.com/profile/09222203353717749897noreply@blogger.com
