Damn Winter

All I have to say is, it takes us @50 minutes from Kendallville to home on a usual night. Tonight, 1 hour 35 minutes. But we DID make it home.

Unlike one neighbor.

  1. OMGosh, that looks like a scary ride. I hope there is no damage to his car. I am ready for Spring, not more snow. I am so done with winter. Drive careful tomorrow.

  2. I am very ready for spring! Glad you made it safe, sorry the neighbor didn't. It is never fun to dig out a stuck car. Trust me, I know this from experience. Stay safe and out of the snow bank.

I hear 'ya about the travel-time.

    And regarding that "park-job"?
    ROFLMAO!
Not bad IF he's plannin' to swap out a tire or two...
Otherwise, perhaps he'd best not drink and "park".

A real "OOPS" moment...to be sure!

    Stay safe up there.

  4. Laies, I apreciate your empathy for our poor unfortunate. You are better (wo)men than I, Gunga Din.

Bob: I knew I could count on you to see the amusement in the whole thing. I'm sure you deduced, as we did, that people who don't go too fast on curvy roads don't end up as teeter-totters on artificial snowbanks.

  5. We've been lucky so far to not have any weather-related mishaps. It amazes me how some people have their common sense go out the window when the roads get bad. Glad you made it home ok. :-)
