A quick pop in...

Don't really have anything today.... been working on some Time Machine projects- including the 2014 Beauty Contest- and you'll get the fruits of those labors at a future date.  In the meantime, the new beer cap shipment is posted at the caps blog (go look at it- link on right- it'll take a couple minutes if you read slow), so check that out.  Also, Larry at DiscConnected- I'm now getting the same error that you are dealing with.  It started this morning as Windows installed IE11 as we slept.  I sent a message to Google Help, but knowing them I'll get little more than an automated response.  They say if you hit compatablity view it will go away, but I don't get the little broken page on my bar on my home page, so that's neither here nor there.  Basically another attempt to shoehorn everybody onto Google Chrome, which I told Google help I was less likely to do the more it is forced on me.  Ah, I just got the automated reply, repeating my complaint and letting me know any replies will be e-mailed.

Anyway, if you are a Facebook Friend (BTW, to get me, you have to get Laurie K. Easterday, because I was too lazy to set up my own), you already saw the rest of the Christmas pictures.  If not, here you go:

Me and Scrappy's room from the inside

Scrappy not thrilled with flashing lights (I set them to soft blink when we go to bed)

  1. Lucky you....you're a Facebook friend. Great lights. We've got our outdoor ones set up, but the tree has yet to be decorated. It's artificial, so I put it together LAST weekend, but no lights or ornaments yet. Since, we're going to Virginia next Monday, we don't have a lot of time left to get it decorated. I hope to at least have it good to go for Kwanzaa.

    1. I would pick on you, but I had to "pull myself up by the bootstraps" to get myself to even do them this year.

  2. I still get the error, but it does not seem to do anything, nor does anti-virus or malware software (I have both) detect anything.

I did have some kind of toolbar install that I uninstalled-I wonder if that was the cause.

    1. I am on several sites where it tries to tell me, "You have an outdated browser, please upgrade to...", and the update that installed was IE 11. This is nothing but the google campaign to eliminate IE.

  3. Chris:
Hey, that place of yours is looking VERY festive...well done.

I really like Laurie's village, too (needs some hot wheels cars - people living there GOTTA get around, right?...LOL)

Menards is doing a "graduated" sale for Christmas items, and that INCLUDES Christmas village buildings and what-not.

We still have the tree to put up...and that's IT!
(you're gonna LOVE some of the ornaments we have accumulated over the years)

    And...what is "facebook"???
    (Tongue firmly in cheek)

Sorry, don't DO that, but Wifey does (when I can detach here from her smart(er) phone, that is...!

Thanks for the look-see of your digs...nice.

Stay safe and warm up there.

    1. I don't require anyone to do FB... that would be like requiring Google Chrome. Ooops, did I say that?

    1. Oh, yes, her eyes were closed because she don't like her picture took. Oh, vanity...

  5. I get the error message every time I pull up my dashboard, but everything seems to work fine so I just close out of it! Love your lights. I begged my husband for the first 10 years to hang lights on the house to no avail, so he got this year, our 11th year off from the nagging. He's just not a decorator!

    1. I'd never do it outside, either. I have to nag me to do them from on my bed!

  6. Your Christmas decorations are beautiful. I probably should put more effort into mine. Not even turned on the tree lights yet
