Gotta love the imaginations of chemical manufacturers. What a clever name. |
The Green Hole, still green.. |
...and full of dens to sniff. |
Lots and lots of Fleabane. |
In purple, too |
This guy tagged along for much of the first half of our walk, but got tired and had to sit down. |
No ducks at the duck pond, but plenty of big fat tadpoles |
When soccer isn't ongoing, this is one of the best spots- always shady, and so quiet. |
All that remains of California Road where it met Coliseum. |
A nice sitting spot- at the south end of the woods. |
Wow such a bloody great walk I could take photos of my morning walk but they would be pretty boring
ReplyDeleteYou don't need anything for a good walk but good scenery.
DeleteChris:
ReplyDeleteThere are only TWO ways I can find any GOOD scenery:
1) Our back yard and garden
2) Watching one of the "locals" moving OUT.
3) Seeing a police car catch someone nearby
Okay, make that THREE (wink, wink...nudge, nudge)
Very nice (and soothing) pictures, but please save SOME of the serenity for a couple weekends from now, okay?
I'm looking forward to a nice "trek" in the verdant part of the city.
(far from our madding crowd).
Good post.
Stay safe up there, brother.
