Oh, there he is...

Well, little Isaiah Christopher Martin- 6 lbs, 11 oz, and 19 1/2 inches- is all over Facebook.  But here, you get EXCLUSIVE (lol) Grandpa pics!

After an all-day battle to get contractions started, Isaiah made up for lost time- the midwife had ONE glove on when she looked over and said, "He's crowning!!!"

Grandpa's new little buddy hit the streets at 9:36 PM November 1st, 2016.  So far we know he likes cuddling and blowing bubbles.  Dislikes include showing off his pecs!

"Oh, no!  Not Grandma Laurie!" lol!

Mama is in a little pain but basically undamaged.  And has been given permission to hit the father by the nurse who took her info this morning.

"Okay, I guess she's not so bad..."

First thing Jessica said- "He's got your feet!"  Point of fact, that makes four generations of big martin feet!

"Hey! Who the hell are all these people?"

  1. Chris:
The miracle of life NEVER gets old...we do, though, right?
He's beautiful, and I'm relieved that everyone if doing well.
Guess KC has a new drinking "buddy"...heh.
("gimme MILK...and in a dirty glass" - man, that's one TOUGH hombre!)

And have you decided on a nickname?
Personally, "I LIKE IKE" (and that's not a political advert.
It is better than "Z or "Zay", don'cha think?

And please don't let him play basketball.
    It's BASEBALL all the way...lol.
I think Grandpa Chris can find a proper ball cap, too.
OR, Isaiah could don some TARDIS underoos and have a sonic screwdriver "binky"...HA!

Told 'ya your "work" was just starting.

    Stay safe up there, brother.

    1. Me and Mama are on your side with B-Ball, but that's up to him. As for the nickname, I suggested to KC that he should add a "B" middle name so he could be an ICBM!

  2. CONGRATULATIONS! I feel it's acceptable to shout just this one time.

Very happy for you and your family! Thank you for sharing your grandson with us. I love that he's also sharing your name. Just precious. Much love and hugs to everyone!

    1. Well, KC has MY dad's middle name (which he actually went by), so I think it works out great. Although in about 30 years or or so, I imagine "Grandpa KC" will be lobbying for anything BUT that...
