Well, he made it- a walk half our former usual, which took twice as long as it used to, and will probably be a "pay for later" moment on his part. But he misses the woods so much... Several stops, a whole bottle of water, and several "I'm not even pretending to lift my leg"s later:
#1 of 8 ground hogs we- well, I- saw. |
New beetle Olympics event- synchronized sex... |
There's #2- looking the wrong direction for us. His buddy was up a ways. |
"This is where they went- I KNOW it!" |
Here's #4, looking a lot like the Snuggles Bear, with #s 5 and 6 just escaping behind him. |
"Hey, what the heck..." |
"My drinking hole is BONE-DRY!!!"
The way home- #1 of 4 bunnies. Scrappy did see one of them, as well as the only two squirrels in the neighborhood just before this. |
Bunny # 2 |
Here's #3 |
#s 1 and 2 |
Just missed Graoundhog # 7, got #8 |
And the very adorable Bunny #4 |
Chris:
ReplyDelete---I'll bet Scrappy DID have a good time with all those critters you came across.
---Those are some good size groundhogs you got there.
---Japanese Beetles...Drown 'em!
(soapy water works best)
---What with ALL the bunnies up there?
(no cats...I know...LOL)
Very good walkabout.
(You done GOOD, Scrappy!)
Stay safe up there, brother
Plenty of cats about... haven't seen a fox yet this year, but there were plenty of both last season. I think bunny Viagra has arrived...
DeleteLots of bunnies! ☺ I'm sure Scrappy enjoyed himself, despite paying the price later on. We get like that too, sometimes, but it's still worth it.
ReplyDeleteSurpisingly, he did good last night. Too hot today, though.
