Martin World News: I Don't Belong Here edition

Today we are going to play a little game of, "What front page headline least deserves the spot", and yes, this could be a poser, since every front page is full of crap no one needs to know.  But let's start out with the usuals...

Fox News:

Biden’s income drops during first term as president

You DO understand he's been POTUS for just about 8 percent of that first term, right?

Honorable mention: the daily countdown of how long it's been since VP Kamala Harris was made point er, woman for the border crisis/non crisis and hasn't went to the border to check things out.  This is at 54 days, and replaced their previous stupid  countdown of how many days Uncle Joe has been POTUS w/o a press conference.

BBC World News

Why is Gaza blurry on Google Maps?

Apparently it is a big deal to someone at BBC World, but the article itself didn't have an explanation.  I don't know about before, but I bet I know why it's blurry now...

(Disclaimer:  I'm not making fun of the suffering of war.  I am, however, making fun of the BBC believing that getting a clear Google Maps image is important right now...)

Shovels Fly at Siberia’s Annual Speed Grave-Digging Contest

"Speed Grave digging?"  Is this a new Olympic sport?

The morbid competition, held every year, says its aim is to raise the prestige of the profession, improve grave-diggers’ work performance and attract younger generations to careers in the funeral industry, the state-run TASS news agency reported.

The winners this year set a new record- one grave exactly  200cm X 80 cm by 160 cm (6.56 ft X 31.5 inches X 5.25 feet) in just under 38 minutes, besting last year's mark by nearly 14 minutes.

Long work hours are a killer, WHO study shows

No fooling?

The research found that working 55 hours or more a week was associated with a 35% higher risk of stroke and a 17% higher risk of dying from heart disease, compared with a working week of 35 to 40 hours.

And here I am, working 50-56 because the world is in desperate need of- boat covers.  Yeah, thanks, rich folks!

How environmentally friendly are balcony plants?

I don't know, but the site had a click-bait Wal-Mart ad that blocked me three times, so apparently Wal-Mart doesn't want us to know...

And finally...
