So, what about this weekend's walks?

 I don't know, let's see...

Friday morning- 38F (3 C)

The pin oak at Squirrel Junction says, "This is all the color you get!"

We could use a good rain- canal's about dry

I call this, "Big Guy In Yellow"

And Saturday:

It rained on and off during the night- but not a cloud now

That was the end of critters for today, as the Plex fields were socked in with, not socceristas, but Lacrosskis.  Even had a booth selling LAX NOW tees.  I overheard a coach telling his 6-8 year olds, "C'mon, guys, try to wake up!"  I muttered to Misty, "Maybe you should try not to have them already on the field at 8 AM!"

Crows ruled the Swamp...

The ducks didn't mind...

...but the Blue Jay was squawking about it!

Misty insisted there was something in the direction of the Coliseum she needed to look/sniff at...

...what it was, I don't know.

Ravine from a different angle

I decided to go between the trees and onto the field.  Misty was against, but I won.

She may have been right- no sooner did we start, than Lacrosskis began to arrive.

A closer look at one of the lit-up sugar maples.  See the trail on the right?

Misty insisted we take it back into the woods.

But she agreed to come out later,  And why not?  Unknown to me, there was another doggie at the top of the hill.
