...it just felt like it, b/c (at least by the time we got home) it was 99% humidity! And this was 0625 AM...
Kinda hazy out here...
The mushrooms loved all that rain yesterday
First sighting of the morning
Other nearby areas had dense fog warnings. We had "breathable water"
Right off the bat, two deer...
By the way, remember the last walk, when I saw the two creatures too big and brown (from a distance) to be raccoons? Well, stay tuned...
Here they go again...
...and they WERE raccoons- after family breakfast, no doubt
Here's our deer again
And another, off by himself
Misty wants to track the raccoon trail
Black Eyed Susans are out- surprised the Woke contingent hasn't changed THEIR names...
Just one biker- and later, a walker who clued us in there were more deer by the "world's smallest airstrip"
Another deer?
No, just our two friends from earlier
Caught a duck screaming, er, quacking, past
And, there's the deer
The Bluebird of Happiness made an appearance
Odd to find this- the nearest Giant-Eagle is 147 miles by highway
This is me trying to snap the frog that just sailed over the log at upper right, and failing
Misty likewise trying and failing
PFW Kops
This is me trying to snap the lone bunny we saw today- just barely
Now in the woods- MORE humid, less wind
This is me wishing I had gills
Out of the woods- just as humid, but at least bubbles don't come out when I exhale |
"Yeah, complain it up- at least you go home to air conditioning!"
I don't like humid weather, we do have it here but in my part of Aus it isn't that bad thank goodness
ReplyDeleteIt was pretty high again today... possible storms tonite.
DeleteWe're having a similar heatwave, but I still prefer this to winter, any day! ☺ Misty was having a good time at least, with all that wildlife around.
ReplyDeleteAmen to summer! She has a great time, and pays that night...
DeleteWe've got air you can wear here as well. So gross. Today it's pouring though, which should scrub out most of the wildfire smoke from Canada. Love that you see so many deer, I'm never quick enough with the camera.
ReplyDeleteIt's easier when they pose!
