Pics at the end of vacation

So this vacation had a rough Friday- AC that acted like it was going out (it wasn't); my phone acting like it was going out (it wasn't).  And Saturday, we woke to a quite humid morning...

Thought we might be having another doggie day, but the neighbor's was the only one

Hmm, seems the new property owners have some stuff to take care of...

Busy at the Plex already?

Looks like an event this weekend

Yep, definitely an event.

What it was, I later found out, is the "Puma Experience": Puma sponsors a 2-day, 4-age group youth soccer tourney.  It seems to be a many places event, and this weekend is our turn.
Wow, even changing out the trash cans!

Worst job of the event- checking people in, since half of Fort Wayne is arriving

Meanwhile, at the river...

This was fun getting across...

By the time we get home, blue skies

Later, Laurie's niece Rachel brought her kiddos over.  This piece of Laurie artwork was one result.

Later yet, they came back to visit our play park, right across from the bark park.

This is the beginning of Misty's first trip down the slide

This is the end.  There is video on FB...

Gunner is a brilliant kid.  He used dust to make the slide slicker.

"But I want to go for another walk! Or ice, I'll take ice."

"Thanks for the ice!"

And that brings us to a quick look at Sunday- a little earlier, a lot cooler...

Crows were the first guests at day 2 of the soccer apocolypse

"I see you survived day one!" "Yeah, and day two is on- a lot cooler, thankfully!"

Crows were flying in from everywhere

First other signs of life

Disc golfers are slobs. S-L-O-B-S.

"You're telling me!"

  1. Looks like fun times for Misty and the children on play equipment. Seeing them going up and down made my day.
