And, with another lack-of-work week...

...Comes another Boofus walk!  Sorry the pics aren't exactly exciting, but when you have leaf-less trees + animals on vacation + dogs that are functionally crippled but whose strength increases with proximity to increasingly icky holes of water-like fluid + a camera battery stuck once again on the concept of a compatable battery that the camera thinks is incompatable...

Here we have the ultra-modern controls for the soccer fields sprinkling system...

As you can see, security is a high priority... Scrappy walked right in...

"Yay! The Duck Pond!"

And the green algae really makes the taste pop!

Can anyone explain to me the concept of killing the grass on your soccer field in the fall?

Across the new(ish) bridge

Oh, and here's Mr I-Don't-want-to-take-the-easy-trail...

...just about to run into the stiff brambles he loves so much...

Anybody out there think I'm kidding about the water obsession?

Yep. this IS the trail...

Is it sun in the eye or "Sick of Dad telling me no about drinking icky water..."

And here's the moon.

    ---LMAO...those captions are PRICELESS.
You're in fine form this week,
---"Security is a high priority"...not to the ones who are supposed to LOCK THE BLOODY GATE!
You should have did a sprinkler-check...maybe the city could hire you on as a P/T "freelancer".
---New(ish) bridge (that STILL has a rope barrier across it???) Alrighty then.
---Is Scrappy doing his groundhog imitation with that burrowing?
---Yeah, the moon came up early, and VENUS was up long after it got light outside (morning star that it is).

    Very good walkabout.

(stay safe (and algae-free) up there, brother.

    1. No, that would be his, "The water will taste better a few steps farther on" look. And no burrowing needed, just walk right INSIDE the drainpipe.
