By that, I mean that a) we got cut to 8-hours days this week, so we got nice walks in Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday, but b) Friday and Saturday the whole house was sick, and Sunday rained, so no shots from those days. Still a bit scattered from OTC meds, but here's what I found on the camera.
Off we go |
It was pretty windy, except here on the back side |
Safer to just huddle |
Looking at a parked car doing nothing |
Stony Run on it's way to the river |
Looked like an angry eyeball in the water by Misty... |
Dad" "Can you find the hidden trail from the back?" Misty: "Screw that, I'm heading for the main trail." |
Next up Wednesday:
Welcome to, "Misty Chooses The Way" |
One side, Groundhog Road, and a doggie; the other, the usual path. Split the diff, up the hill. |
And down the trail |
Daddy finds more golf balls |
Follow the trail, or past the Swamp? Annnnnnd... the Swamp |
But just grazing the landing- no water! |
...and under the bridge... |
...in search of that elusive spot where I can get to the water |
Left at the pile of beer bottles... |
...and here we are! |
Good enough, let's go |
What's up this way? |
Along the fence at Coliseum Blvd |
"NO! We are NOT crossing that road!" |
"Fine, let's turn around..." |
Checking for varmints |
Up towards Alumni Center |
"Oh, but we must cut across the grass... |
...and the parking lot!" |
We saw a lady walking a cat- until the cat saw us |
Misty was interested, but not obnoxious |
Then it was a little doggie, who again got picked up |
Believe it or not, the ONE time she walked the length of the bridge without hopping off |
Choosing the way through the addition |
One of the cross streets getting torn up |
Leaving us with Thursday- a day I spent praying, "Don't let me get sick until 2:30"....
Away we go! |
Mr Squirrel up the tree |
Robins all over in the grass |
Doggies all over, too |
Never did find out what was with these trucks, we went the other way |
Ducks skirting the ice |
Misty was either watching them, or the ice. |
plenty of deer tracks |
View while Daddy takes a break |
"Heck with the Swamp and the Landing. Let's go this way!" |
Wonderful photos of a bloody good walk
