M10 Show week 10

Here at Music Central, we continue to be snowed in, but we can still have tunage!  This week, Billboard posted their 'greatest hits that got to #2 but not #1', so we'll be looking at Martin Era members of that club, as well as playing our 2 new debuts!

Elvis:  Hey, how's come I had to dig out the Tardis, an' you took a nap?

Imaginary snow needs imaginary shovels, King!  Our opening debut at #10 is a Canadian supergroup, founded by Andy Curran of the band Coney Hatch (whom I haven't run into before, but were an 80's power band with "ear splitting concerts"), with vocalist and indy folkster Maiah Wynne, and former Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson.  Together, they and their new lp are called Envy Of None; and the single at #10...

Pretty good stuff, boss!  Hot chocolate?

Nah, I'm good, but help yerself!  So yesterday, Billboard did their 100 greatest #2 songs of all time.  Which, of course, because of thew 2020's, 2010's 2000's, and 1990's, include a lot of members that I just don't know...  and in many cases are better off for it.  However, I am more than happy to round off to ME years and give you what is left of the list- a top ten, at least.  And here they are!

  1. Snowed in? Here in Virginia Beach, we had a few inches of snow last week (all gone, especially since it was 70 degrees on Thursday).
Even so, they lost their minds here. Me, on the other hand, laughed in New England.
Sounds like it would be more appropriate to laugh in Indiana.
