What is it about nice people that attract total idiots?Nice people are martyrs. Idiots are evangelists.

Pictures!

Boy, between work, and bad weather, and bad back, and dead batteries, and just low motivation, I didn't realize I haven't done pictures almost all month! So here we go, way back on the 7th...

(NOTE:  With the trouble I just had getting THESE to come up, maybe I'm not surprised it's been this long...)

I just had to share this: This woman is trying to push a baby carriage in one hand and talk on the phone with the other...

Across the roughest stretch of tall grass she could find.  I think it started out being a short cut, but...

It's been a while since I took these, so the only other thing I can say for sure, there was a lot of doggies...

So next we stop on the 19th, where...

We celebrated Grayson's 6th birthday!  Among his gifts were this neat medieval knight kit, and the floppy "pickle" his brother is holding in the background.

The next day was a Saturday walk...

About the only notable thing was the gear up for a PFW cross-country event.

Their website aggravatingly didn't mention who all was coming, so I have no idea who was in the "Lamers" bus. However we did see Manchester...

...Butler...

...and Wright State.

Apparently Lamers (lovely name, BTW) is out of Milwaukee, so it was likely a U of Wisconsin campus, possibly Green Bay.

And that brings us to this morning...

8 am and still a little morning fog...

...getting worse as we headed south...

Really bad on the river itself.

So Misty got interested by the remains of someone's cleaned fish... of course she consumed some of it before I saw what she was doing.

Woods is starting to turn...

Seeking varmintage in the Alumni Center's flower bed

Rev 4:2  At once I was in the Spirit, and behold, a throne stood in heaven, with one seated on the throne. Rev 4:3  And he who sat there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian, and around the throne was a rainbow that had the appearance of an emerald.

Our "big display" neighbor has some Halloween competition this year...

...but not near enough to beat them!

Wednesday Bible Study: Millenium finale

All right, so let's wrap up life in the Millenium.  This is SO worth looking forward to, especially right now!  We've seen the hate and anger that evil spits out in this world the last couple of weeks.  But now evil is defeated- for a time- and It's a new world of hope.  Christ Himself is on the throne, and David has arisen to rule over Israel...

Eze 34:23  And I will set up over them one shepherd, my servant David, and he shall feed them: he shall feed them and be their shepherd.

Eze 34:24  And I, the LORD, will be their God, and my servant David shall be prince among them. I am the LORD; I have spoken.

And he will have help...

Mat 19:27  Then Peter said in reply, “See, we have left everything and followed you. What then will we have?”

Mat 19:28  Jesus said to them, “Truly, I say to you, in the new world, when the Son of Man will sit on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

But also we who have either died in Christ or hear those wonderful words, "Come up here", will also have authority, as we saw last time.  But now, I want to throw you some curve balls about what this new world will be like.

-Evangelism is NOT done!  Some survivors of Armageddon will yet be uninformed about Christ, and the Jews will be sent to the nations to gather the fruit:

Isa 66:19  and I will set a sign among them. And from them I will send survivors to the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, who draw the bow, to Tubal and Javan, to the coastlands far away, that have not heard my fame or seen my glory. And they shall declare my glory among the nations.

Isa 66:20  And they shall bring all your brothers from all the nations as an offering to the LORD, on horses and in chariots and in litters and on mules and on dromedaries, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, says the LORD, just as the Israelites bring their grain offering in a clean vessel to the house of the LORD.

- Free of the sin of the old world, the population renews:

Jer 30:18  “Thus says the LORD: Behold, I will restore the fortunes of the tents of Jacob and have compassion on his dwellings; the city shall be rebuilt on its mound, and the palace shall stand where it used to be.

Jer 30:19  Out of them shall come songs of thanksgiving, and the voices of those who celebrate. I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will make them honored, and they shall not be small.

-There will be work- herds to watch, and fields to tend:

Isa 65:10  Sharon shall become a pasture for flocks, and the Valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down, for my people who have sought me.

- No more working for someone else and not getting the benefit of it:

Isa 65:22  They shall not build and another inhabit; they shall not plant and another eat; for like the days of a tree shall the days of my people be, and my chosen shall long enjoy the work of their hands.

Isa 65:23  They shall not labor in vain or bear children for calamity, for they shall be the offspring of the blessed of the LORD, and their descendants with them.

-No more too-soon deaths (for the mortals remaining will still die, but...)

Isa 65:20  No more shall there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not fill out his days, for the young man shall die a hundred years old, and the sinner a hundred years old shall be accursed.

-One thing I noted to my son and grandson the other night was that wild beasts will be among the bringers of death during the Tribulation; but NOW:

Isa 65:25  The wolf and the lamb shall graze together; the lion shall eat straw like the ox, and dust shall be the serpent's food. They shall not hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain,” says the LORD.

-God later ties this to the other big cause of death in the Tribulation, war:

Hos 2:18  And I will make for them a covenant on that day with the beasts of the field, the birds of the heavens, and the creeping things of the ground. And I will abolish the bow, the sword, and war from the land, and I will make you lie down in safety.

-He also eliminates the third horseman, Famine:

Hos 2:21  “And in that day I will answer, declares the LORD, I will answer the heavens, and they shall answer the earth,
Hos 2:22  and the earth shall answer the grain, the wine, and the oil, and they shall answer Jezreel...

-But what about all the things we struggled with on this earth?

Isa 65:17  “For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth, and the former things shall not be remembered or come into mind.
Isa 65:18  But be glad and rejoice forever in that which I create; for behold, I create Jerusalem to be a joy, and her people to be a gladness.

A world of joy, a people of gladness.  Somehow, though, this cannot last either, because mortal flesh is still bound to sin:

Rev 20:2  And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years,
Rev 20:3  and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while.

What? Satan gets freed again?  But why?  Because we MUST be made to depend on God alone.  At first, the world was given the chance to seek the Lord (Genesis 4:26)- but they messed it up, and God brought the Flood.  Then they were given the Law- but they could not follow it, and went into exile.   Then there Messiah came on the Appointed Day- and they rejected Him (Luke 19:41-44).  And now, even when He rules, when He is there for all to see, man will be like the fallen angels and still turn away:

Rev 20:7  And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prison
Rev 20:8  and will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea.
Rev 20:9  And they marched up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, but fire came down from heaven and consumed them,
Rev 20:10  and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

And that will be the end of the way things were....

Rev 20:11  And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

At that point those who rejected Christ throughout history will be judged; every crime, every attempt of the Spirit to convict them that they spurned, will be opened for all to see.

--------------------------------------------------

I get to this point and I think of Stalin.  According to his daughter:

According to Svetlana, his death was a "terrible" and prolonged agony of choking.
In what seemed to be his very last moment of consciousness, he suddenly opened his eyes and cast a malicious glare over the doctors and officials in the room.
He then raised his left hand and pointed upward in a gesture that Svetlana described as "incomprehensible and full of menace".
Immediately after the final gesture, he collapsed and died.

He must have instinctively known what would come next.  But here's the thing: The wonderful scientist who finds the cure for cancer, but doesn't believe in Christ, will share that same fate.   What about you?  Many theologians believe that, if you heard the Gospel before the Rapture (which you are right now!) but never accept the free gift of Christ's death for your sins, you won't get a second chance, according to Paul:

2Th 2:9  The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders,
2Th 2:10  and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.
2Th 2:11  Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false,
2Th 2:12  in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Those that get evangelized during the Tribulation and in the Millenium had NEVER HEARD the Gospel before.  If you hear it, and snooze on it, you will be right there with that scientist and "Uncle Joe".  But God is merciful; just as we learned in the Revelation series that God will accept the repentant heart right up to the end, you have a chance even now.  But don't waste time.

Those who don't know their history...

Munich, 1938. Nazis- the true definition of the overused word "Fascist"- meet with Neville Chamberlain of the UK, with the implicit agreement of France.  They made a deal for "peace in our times", carving Czechoslovakia up as a sacrifice to an enemy that would scoff at their weakness, laugh at their leaders, and kill the flower of their youth.

September 2025.  Keir Starmer of the UK, again with the implicit agreement of France, and with his moral equals in Canada and Australia, bend the knee to an enemy once again.  But where Chamberlain considered eastern Europe an "accptable price" for peace, Starmer et al just pencil-whipped agreement that peace was worth this enemy's slaughter of 1,200 Israelis, and peace would equal rewarding these butchers with a state.  Because, after all, his political future depends on the 863,000 and rising illegal Muslim immigrants he needs voting for him.  Why Canada and Australia went along with this, I can't imagine.  They have seemingly hitched their wagon to a dying horse; Western Europe.  Governments in the UK, France, Germany, Sweden, all are bending over backwards to kiss the infidel backside.  The Netherlands are in a political Civil War over the issue; Hungary has become a pariah for resisting it, and Poland is coming closer to that perception.

How do I know this?  Because I look at intetrnational events with an open eye.  My X feed is FULL, and I mean full, of Britishers saying, "Starmer doesn't speak for us."  Every day I see film of British police arresting kids waving English flags "because they might be taken as hateful by Muslims".  People being questioned because "You looked at a post on social media two years ago, and we need to confiscate your phone."  Britain isn't British anymore.

And the poison grows.  In Ireland, fighter Connor MacGregor is trying to run for President, to "give Ireland back to the Irish"- and the government is basically moving the goalposts to find a way to invalidate his candidacy. Geert Wilders in the Netherlands is fighting a desperate battle to keep the Dutch government Dutch.

And I am not beginning to just blame Europe.  Dearborn, Michigan now has a Muslim mayor (and city council), which just last week told a Christian citizen- who was speaking against naming a city street after a Muslim terrorist- "You may live here, but you don't belong here.  And I will order a parade to celebrate the day you move out."

Minneapolis has elected a Somali woman to Congress who married her BROTHER to even get into our country; the call the city "little Mogadishu" now.

Charlie Kirk told us, "Islam is the sword the left is using to slit the throat of America." After his murder, Geert Wilders paid tribute by modifying it to "Charlie Kirk was 100% right here.  Out of respect for him and his bravery I repeat his true words that are valid for Europe as well:

Islam is the sword the left is using to slit the throat of Europe."

Keir Starmer day by day is putting Britain's throat on the block, just as Macron has done in France.  And apparently, Canada and Australia are happily trying on the blindfolds for themselves.  I love all your countries, just as I love my own.  Difference is, we are trying hard to get out of the chopping block queue.

But I guess I'm just hateful.  See you at the mosque.

M10 report

Well I thought you might need a musical interlude.  Yes, the M10 still functions, even if I rarely post it anymore. This week I thought I'd intro you to the newer stuff on it.

At 10, a German outfit called the Soviet Space Dogs... and of course, the only way I can share it is their Bandcamp link. Scroll down and play song #4.

Last week these guys had a song at #7... this week a new one at #9.  They are St Paul and the Broken Bones...

**************************************************

Their last one is here...

****************************************************

The Beths and their new one came in last week and sits at #6....

************************************

And for the first time, megagroup Bush hits the M10 at #7....

************************************************

And the top is pretty close to where it was when last we met, but with notes:

- Geowulf's Broken Hearts passed this year's earlier Silver Lining by Matt Berry for #4 all time;

- and the twin terrors of Whitney's Dandelions and Redspencer's This Is the Day are closing in, with Dandelions (which has been on the charts a week longer) now tied for 12th and Redspencer (who has held the top spot 4 of the last five weeks) tied for 16th.

And that's the story here.  Enjoy the music!

Wednesday Bible Study: The Millenium, Part 2

I'm a bit sad that, looking at stats, that the views on the first part of this series are so low.  I mean, I understand why- the assassination of Charlie Kirk happened the day it came out, and I posted "Tell It To Them" right on top of it.  But at a time like this, when evil has won a "great victory" and all the hounds of hell are celebrating his death, it's exactly WHEN we need the good news that the Millenium brings.  Perhaps before reading this, you could go back and look at that, because it holds the groundwork for the story, and you need that.  In any event, strap in, because we are off!

Last time, I mentioned the THREE groups of humans who will be on this new Earth.   First, there will be the survivors of Armageddon.  Survivors? Yes, there will be survivors.  As Jesus said in Matthew's Gospel:

Mat 24:21  For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be.

Mat 24:22  And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.

Understand, there are three great waves of evangelism between the Rapture of the Church and the coming of Christ's kingdom.  The first is that of the 144,000 Jewish evangelists, 12,000 from each tribe.  The second is the two prophets who withhold the rain, and are killed by the Antichrist and are resurrected after three days,  and the third is the mighty angel who circles the earth carrying the Gospel one last time.  They will be both Jews- those who heeded Christ's warning and escaped Jerusalem when the Mount of Olives is split- and gentiles (because we will have an Egypt and an Assyria in the Kingdom, and how else could that be without gentiles?)

The second group will be the Raptured and the restored to life.  Many of them will be teachers in the New Earth, as well as rulers.  Remember the parable of the Talents:

Luk 19:16  The first came before him, saying, ‘Lord, your mina has made ten minas more.’

Luk 19:17  And he said to him, ‘Well done, good servant! Because you have been faithful in a very little, you shall have authority over ten cities.’

We will be rewarded with governorship over places around the world according to our faithfulness.  The greatest example of this- and proof that it extends to all generations of man- is that David will sit on a throne in the new world:

Jer 30:8  “And it shall come to pass in that day, declares the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off your neck, and I will burst your bonds, and foreigners shall no more make a servant of him.

Jer 30:9  But they shall serve the LORD their God and David their king, whom I will raise up for them.

The third will be those who died as martyrs during the Tribulation. They are the ones John saw in Heaven:

Rev 6:9  When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne.

Rev 6:10  They cried out with a loud voice, “O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you will judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”

Rev 6:11  Then they were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brothers should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been.

And, they receive this promise:

Rev 3:12  The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God. Never shall he go out of it, and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down from my God out of heaven, and my own new name.

So the martyrs- like Charlie Kirk, among many others- will have this special station in the new order.

In this new order, there will be a lot of familiar things.  People will still be taught about God, but this time, the ones who failed to do it before will get a second chance at it:

Zec 8:23  Thus says the LORD of hosts: In those days ten men from the nations of every tongue shall take hold of the robe of a Jew, saying, ‘Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.’”

The Jews will keep four feasts in the Millenium:

Zec 8:18  And the word of the LORD of hosts came to me, saying,

Zec 8:19  “Thus says the LORD of hosts: The fast of the fourth month and the fast of the fifth and the fast of the seventh and the fast of the tenth shall be to the house of Judah seasons of joy and gladness and cheerful feasts. Therefore love truth and peace.

Note the difference between "fast" and "feast".  These were four occasions of great grief for the Jews in the past. John Gill's Commentary explains them like this: The fourth month was June, when Nebuchadnezzar's army finally broke the walls of Jerusalem for the final time. The fifth month, July, is when both the first and second Temples were destroyed.  The seventh month, our September, was not only the traditional Day Of Atonement (Yom Kippur) but was also for the murder of Gedaliah.  He was the governor of what was left of Judah appointed by Nebuchadnezzar, and was slain for trying to get the people to listen to Jeremiah's prophecy to stay in Judah and not flee to Egypt.  And the tenth month was December, when the final siege of Jerusalem had begun.  So each was a bitter day to the people of old Israel; they would now become joyous feasts, now that the final Babylon was destroyed.

The Gentiles, too, will have a feast of obligation:

Zec 14:16  Then everyone who survives of all the nations that have come against Jerusalem shall go up year after year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Booths.

Zec 14:17  And if any of the families of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, there will be no rain on them.

Zec 14:18  And if the family of Egypt does not go up and present themselves, then on them there shall be no rain; there shall be the plague with which the LORD afflicts the nations that do not go up to keep the Feast of Booths.

I mentioned this last time in connection with that Egypt gets special mention- they will apparently test the Lord in this and learn not to do it twice.  The Feast of Booths is the late summer ingathering of the harvest, but also- in the original- dwelt for the seven days of the feast in "booths" or tents, as they did in the desert aftrer God freed them from Egypt.  So, why do the Gentiles have to celebrate it?  There is a swirl of meaning here.  For one, as originally, a feast of thanksgiving to the Lord for the harvest.  Second, the "flimsy booths" remind us of how this new Kingdom has cast away the flimsy structures of evil we formerly dwelt in.  And third, it was at the feast of Booths where Jesus publically declared He was Messiah:

Joh 7:37  On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.

Joh 7:38  Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’”

Next time, what the life on New Earth will be like.

The Sunday after

I haven't posted this weekend.  The smaller part of this involves an incident between me and a trash dumpster that left my back "questionable" all weekend, so no walks.

The bigger part is the absolute grief I have about my nation and the world over the "joyous reactions" people had to Charlie Kirk's murder.  If you don't believe in Heaven and Hell, angels and demons, listening to these "people" should have convinced you.

One local pastor hit it on the head: "Remember, a person is not your enemy.  People are not your enemy.  The Bible tells you who your enemy is."

Charlie Kirk was murdered for speaking this country and our God.  And now, those who got fired for posting their "joy" on social media are crying, "Where's my free speech?"  Guess what? You shot it.

My son came over for our typical "beer and sports" night Friday, and the first thing he said was, "Before we get started, can we pray about Charlie Kirk?"  He went on to to tell me he had already had to delete 3 FB friends who celebrated his murder.  He was broken hearted, and I was never so proud of him.

All of these haters have one thing in common: they never spent five minutes actually HEARING what Charlie said, or figuring out what he stood for.  They just take as gospel whatever the left media tells them- and when the left media spends all it's time calling us fascists, Hitlers, racist, that's what you get.

Every one who uses the word Fascist on another human being should be required to spend a weekend back in time in 1944 Auschwitz.  Or spend a day with Dietrich Bonhoffer in 1937.  See what the face of fascism really was-

-and then go run their political opinions past the mirror.

Arguably the most "third world" cities in the United States are Cleveland, Detroit, and Baltimore.  Now, name the three cities whose NFL teams did not have a Charlie Kirk Tribute this weekend.  I am far from surprised.  But see, that IS freedom of speech.  They didn't have to, and they didn't.

People who may well end up in Hell dancing and singing, "Rest in Hell"?  Yep, them too.  But guess what? It comes with consequences.  If you project badly on your workplace, you might well be fired.  If you are an educator or military or medical, you SHOULD be fired.  And if you lose the respect of decent, caring human beings?  You chose it.  Go dance with your demons.

_________________________________________

There is a part of me that is struggling with forgiveness.  I forgive people, not monsters.  I understand being deceived, but not reveling in it.  Unlike my son, I've pretty much shed any "friends" that would have celebrated already over Trump and Israel.  But for him, for all the stories I've seen the last 3 days, my heart is broken. Psa 30:4  Sing praises to the LORD, O you his saints, and give thanks to his holy name.

Psa 30:5  For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.

Tell it to them

Okay, so here we have a man who did nothing but try to engage thinking people to think.  To try to explain the truth behind what he believes.  A Christian, a family man.  Always treated those he disagreed with with respect.  And someone, some leftist coward, shot him from a window 200 yards away.  Mixed reports; he may already be dead. (Confirmed as I type, leaving behind a wife and two little ones.)

This was done by the kind of person who lets a 14-time violent criminal out of jail so he can murder an innocent woman, a woman trusting in America to be a better place, lets him out because he shared the same race.  Oh, and apparently owns a counselling business he was supposed to report to.

This was done by the kind of person who would go to a Children's church service and shoot the place up, because he was full of self-loathing from the fact that his mother thought transitioning from a man to a woman was a good thing.

This was done by the kind of person that says, "We don't need the National Guard to help our police with crime," safe in his luxury mansion while poor people get killed by gangs and thugs on an hourly basdis in his city.

This was done by the kind of person who thinks communism is a great step forward.

This was done by the kind of person that thinks allowing Jews and Christians to be harrassed in our streets, and in our universities and schools is "free speech", and thus should continue on the government dole, AKA "My paycheck".

This was done by the kind of person who holds up a sign at a "political rally" that reads, "Hey (candidate I oppose), if trans can't share your bathroom, you (implication bering the candidate I oppose is black) can't share my water fountain".

Well, this person is sick of all of your hate based, race based, absolutely evil things you support.

Rom 1:28  And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done.

Rom 1:29  They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips,

Rom 1:30  slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents,

Rom 1:31  foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless.

Rom 1:32  Though they know God's righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.

So the next time you want an unbiased, look at both sides of an issue stance from me, Here's my answer:

"Tell it to them."

Wednesday Bible Study: The Millenium

What is 'the Millenium?" After the horrors of the Tribulation, Jesus Christ will come and reign on the remade earth for a thousand years.  What kind of earth will this be?  Let's look into it.

According to Zechariah 14, most of what we would call Israel (" ...from Geba to Rimnon south of Jerusalem...") will be a level plain- no more 'songs of ascent'?  Not quite, because that same verse says, "But Jerusalem shall remain aloft on its site from the Gate of Benjamin to the place of the former gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king's winepresses. "  Jerusalem will be situated on the highest mountain in the area- Of course, because the very throne of God will be there.

And this will not be a Jerusalem like any we have known!  This is the famous-in-eschatology "Foursquare city".  It will be an enormous cube 1,500 miles length, width, and height.  How does this work?  I have no idea, and it is just one of many marvels I'll say that about.  It will be twelve-gated, for the 12 tribes, and a wall with twelve foundations having the names of the 12 Apostles.  The wall itself will be built from what John described as Jasper.  This is a stone that comes in many colors- the most valuable being green- and opaque.  The city within is gold, but not gold as we know it, but like clear glass.  Each foundation is "adorned" with a different gemstone, and each gate is made of a single pearl (another "impossible with man, possible with God" moment).

The earth itself will be different.  The very skies will be different; the oceans will be gone, and it will be constant day.  Why?  The 'first heaven' was rent when Christ came with His legions to end Armageddon. The oceans, which were this earth's great purifier- and great divider- will no longer be needed for either purpose.  And Christ Himself will be the light all over the world.

The city will have no Temple; because the Temple was merely a symbol of being in the presence of God; and now Jesus is God With Us.

So, how will this world work? There will be nations, though what kind of structure they will have is unclear.  Isaiah tells us that two of these nations will be Egypt and Assyria:

Isa 19:24  In that day Israel will be the third with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the earth,

Isa 19:25  whom the LORD of hosts has blessed, saying, “Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel my inheritance.”

In Daniel 11, he is told that "Edom, Moab, and the prominent men of the Ammonites" will escape destruction; at this point, the only close corrolary to these nations is Jordan.  All of these nations were judged and destroyed in the past, so the "political" future of this earth will be very interesting indeed.

One more thing about these nations- These Gentile survivors of the last war wil be required to keep the Feast of Tabernacles every year.  And if they do not- being still normal humans, they still have a choice- they will face famine.  Egypt is singled out for this; apparently this new Egypt will be naughty at some point.

Finally, the teaser for next week:  "Normal humans?  What does he mean by that?"  Well, there will be three "kinds" of people on this new earth, and that is where we'll start next time.

River so low, Misty took one step and boom, off the shelf and belly deep

So low the land side of the fishing pier is mud

A varmint fleeing

A baby blue jay hanging out

Into the ravine

"Daddy, this wasn't a very good idea"

Then, tha afternoon- in an attempt to let mommy rest before working...

On to the Duck Pond

No ducks, no pond

Time to go swimming

What we have to clamber back up

Daddy finds a big shell

Now we know where the rap music was coming from

"Let's go!"

From the peak of Big Hill.

About this time, Laurie called in tears over a kidney stone, so it all ended on a down note.  We move on to the 3rd...

I thought the rain wasn't coming till tonight...

Getting set for the big cross country meet.  One way to keep them on course, I guess...

Yeah... time to cut it short

Almost game time? Good luck with that.

Yesterday is next...

Hardly anyone out and about...

Old boy getting set to open cricket season

Mushroom Ridge getting a trim

See what happens when you mark the cross country course to soon and it rains? You get to do it again

Seconds before: "The woods is dead today!  No squirrels, no runners, no discers." Now: Squirrel runs up a tree, two runners go by.

And when we got home, it was time to assemble Laurie's latest find: Combo entertainment center and doggie cage.

Today:

Again with the 'no signs of life'

Oh, there we go: Cross country just getting set up

And Mr Goldfinch

Trekking up to base camp near the woods

Since doggies beat us to the main trail...

We went up south ridge

In the ravine, I spot a deer's butt

This was a second deer.  Camera decided to get stupid, and the 'butt' deer snorted and took off.  Scared the nibs off a black squirrel, too!

CC Base camp

Th-th-th-that's all folks!

(Except for the part that as we walked home through the addition, a car we passed told us, "Hi.  You are being recorded.")
