Enter into His gates

This one is about pictures.  And gateways.

Kitty watched us at the start.  At the end, too.

Entrance from the complex to The Plex

Over the hills and into the field...

Psa 118:19  Open to me the gates of righteousness, that I may enter through them and give thanks to the LORD.
Psa 118:20  This is the gate of the LORD; the righteous shall enter through it.

Into the woods, east side

"PFW Golf Club" sprang for a couple of new benches. Beats sitting on upturned logs...

Back golf path

Looks like one of the Touch-me-nots Mom used to have.  It wasn't.

Chipmunk

North end of back woods road

South end coming back in.

Psa 127:4  Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth.
Psa 127:5  Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.

Coming off golf trail back onto main trail

To the left, Dead Tree Road; to the right, the south end

Mat 7:13  "Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many.
Mat 7:14  For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.

Onto the Ravine trail.

The formerly hidden entrance to the Ravine

South Canal bridge

The PFW bridge

Psa 24:7  Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.
Psa 24:8  Who is this King of glory? The LORD, strong and mighty, the LORD, mighty in battle!
Psa 24:9  Lift up your heads, O gates! And lift them up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.
Psa 24:10  Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory! Selah

Misty was enjoying wading in the river- and making waves with her nose...

Greenway bridge at California Road

The ruins of the old bridge, which me and Scrappy used many times.

Mat 25:10  And while they were going to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was shut.
Mat 25:11  Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, 'Lord, lord, open to us.'
Mat 25:12  But he answered, 'Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.'
Mat 25:13  Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.

Mr Groundhog

One last crossing of the canal, and home.

For Laurie's brother Paul, about to enter the Narrow Gate...

Church of the walk

Bunny racing down the greenway

The way I like the soccer pitches... empty

I was just musing on how Scrappy and I were on a run of finding 4-leaf clovers before he passed, and how I had been telling myself my eyes weren't good enough to pick 'em out anymore.  Then I reminded myself, "You just have to pick out the square shape in the bunch of triangles."  Five seconds later...

"So Misty, still think you can find the hidden trail?" "Hold my bone."

"Are you sure about this?"

She was- and she was right.

Wow... haven't cut grass around the Duck Pond...

Three out of every six years on this date, I take a picture of these flowers. #Factsyoulearnwhileeatingbreakfastandlookingatoldphotos

You can't see 'em, but the air was full of cottonwood fuzz

Now, here- all the little white stuff, cottonwood fuzz

Tulip trees are dropping their blossoms

Remember the chip in the woods yesterday?

The orange spots= blossoms still on the tree

The Arboreal Ocean, now dry bed

Sometimes you have to give God the glory in this place

New stone in the big puddles before the back road?

"It won't last long... (slurp)"

Hmm...when did THAT happen?

Leaving the woods- just 4/10 of a mile to home...
