So in between taking piles of my bedroom to the trash, and assisting Laurie increasing the usable size of our living room, Misty and I have gotten in three walks this week. Wait a minute, no work again? What can I say, stuff is slow, so I took Wednesday and Thursday as vacays and used them to make my bedroom a livable space again. (Realizing, of course, the concept is relative.) Here are the walk pics:
| Rained yesterday, not that you can tell |
| See? Rain. |
| The rain we weren't supposed to get was followed by Ft Wayne's version of "partly sunny" |
| There's a rainbow I like |
| Chickory hanging in there |
| Trying to catch a hawk in flight |
| Big Guy won't change from green till the ground is white |
| watching distant discers |
| Wondering what this is sectioned off for |
| Darn baby discers and their socks... |
| This one too |
| that's a lot of exposed bank |
| "Is your old ass about ready?" |
| Never did quite figure out what this critter was... |
| ...looked like a kitten raised by squirrels TBH |
| Almost trampled by the thundering herd |
| First time I ever heard a stork squawk so much flying by |
| Now that's red |
So much for the 15th. Here is the 16th...
| Ah, there's the sun |
| A bit frosty and foggy |
| Some little white guys hanging on, too |
Short and sweet! Much like today...
| Hmm... a little earlier today |
| Somwhere in this mess is a squirrel knocking walnuts to the ground... |
| Misty's been itching to use the shortcut again... |
| ...and today, she said, "We're going" |
| Made it- |
| -right behind Big Guy. Good job! |
| Almost the only ones we saw were this lady and her little doggie |
The mighty towers of Ft Wayne |
| Trying to show Misty's breath |
| I'm not sure Stony Run is even making it to the river anymore |
| Blue Jay flies by |
Okay, so now to the re-arranging. Let me find us a before for the Living room...
And now...
And my room...
| Note that you can see the floor |
You have some lovely fall colours there! Could the mystery critter be a baby possum? Hard to tell!
ReplyDeleteDecluttering is a daunting task! Congrats on getting it done.
The way it moved, I think it was a squirrel who has seen better days... but honestly no idea. And the cleaning? I wanted to sweep upstairs and told myself, "There's no point with this pig sty here..." I was for a time the ultimate argument against evolution.
DeleteWhat a lovely walk, such nice photos and sorting out a room and tossing stuff, some of which we look at and think why do I have this
ReplyDeleteThe biggest battle is the things that you tell yourself you need to keep, but then you stop and ask why, and have no answer.
