This has been kind of a cold and gloomy week, but let's see what I've got in the queue...

Wednesday, it was gloomy by 5 PM when I get home...

The above two pictures highlight the screwy nature of this walk. Despite the gloom, we crossed paths with no less than 4 doggie-walker pairs (#3 was the first pic); two disc golfers, desperately trying to find a a leaf-hidden disc, and learning that at this light level, their flashlight was useless; and one jogger. And that was with cutting it short, turning at Dead Tree Road and coming home.

Thursday, we got off at 230, so it was walking time at 3. Two hours brighter, and we could walk farther, and what did we pass? In the same distance covered Wednesday, we saw NO doggies, NO joggers, and two slightly smarter disc golfers using a neon green disc.

Gloomy here lately too. I've worked 13 days straight in it. There were a few nice days, but snow yesterday and today. Not enough to stick, but enough to remind me that winter is coming. I dislike this time of year mostly because I must walk Alaska at 330-4pm to ensure we don't run into the darkness... and packs of coyote that seem to be overly rampant (and bold) this year.
ReplyDeleteMan, glad the 'yotes haven't been quite so prominent this year. Be happy the Lord is providing (if a bit too much) with your job; my son is off almost all month, and is doordashing to stay afloat.
