I got two walks this week. Let's see what days they were from... Ah, first is Tuesday...
And the cement pouring is finally done... |
,,,though this coffee mug says, not without loss |
If you zoom in, you'll see all the twigs left from 3 days of wind |
Not to mention pine cones |
Yep, creek says, "Still windy" |
Here, too- corduroy river |
And that brings us to Saturday...
As you can see, we got a little pill-like snow |
All that digging to make us compliant with 'no slip ramps' mandates |
A trashy twist on the "Cracker Barrel" sign... |
Ill-placed sign #3- the canal is NOT the Wabash River.... |
Some budding happening, though |
Virtually the only water in the canal.... |
Enjoying the early morning |
Lots of Woodies out today |

I do like these photos, your walks are always refreshing for me here in Australia
ReplyDeleteSome of them are a bit TOO refreshing for me. The way Misty's been stumbling around, I think today's was a bit too much for her!
Deletethecontemplativecat here. Great spring walk. The ducks are fun to watch. We have a golf course pond where they gather. the geese stay on their own.
ReplyDeleteDucks seem to be in that, "Let's get busy layin' eggs", non-social stage here...
