Picture time

Okay, let's start out  on Wednesday afternoon- the first day of my (Lack O'Work again) 4 day weekend...

Wild strawberries at last! (Don't get excited; only the big ones have any flavor.)

Got some rain last night...

Next up, Thursday...

Misty was sure of varmintage

I found a golf scorecard

Early AM soccer

This squirrel crossed the trail, then came screaming back and up a tree...

...apparently being chased by that Redwing

Is it varmint, or dirt clod?

Dirt clod.

Canal actually had clear water in it; by Saturday, back to green gunk

Later we went to sit at the play park, disturbing Mr Bunny...

As well as the neighbor dog.

Then, a little running at the bark park

A sock cap and coat? Dude, it's like 90F out

Bringing us to Friday...

Gloomy morning, short walk

I thought to myself here, "For the Light to come in, something tall and proud had to fall..."

And this was the day we celebrate Misty's upcoming 5th birthday!  She got doggie cookies...

   And a destructible Duck...

Someone's excited

...as well as a crummy eater

Her birthday card from Chewy.com

"A toy...?"

"A TOY! A TOY!"

Believe it or not, the look of pure joy, lol

One more cookie

Later, libations

And now onto this morning...

A bit moist out

Actually, neighbor, it's June.  But it beats that Tampa Bay Lightning poster you had there for the last 4 years...

So yesterday, I neglected to photo "odd things you see in this neighborhood".  Like this eggshell in the sidewalk...

And the shirt which in the course of 24 hours made it from sidewalk to grass

Bunny #1- camera was acting up

Bunny #2, with breakfast

And just around a corner, Bunny #3

Foggy morning

He wasn't quite awake yet

Because who knows when you might need chili powder during a walk

Misty sees two froggies

The third one, I saw too

Not sure why people need a frisbee to enjoy this

Misty spots varmintage on the bridge

Believe it was a chipmunk

Lately, Misty's actually taking the boardwalk instead of mudding

  1. Misty is such a lovely dog and photos of her make me happy and as weird as it sounds sometimes I feel like I am taking the walk with her

    1. High 30's, I think. She's definitely getting the barrel shape of the true "Moo Pig" she is!

  3. Love the way the sun comes through the trees. And isn't it weird the stuff people randomly lose in the street. I thought at first it was stuff falling out of the trash truck but sometimes there's just no way to explain it away.

    1. This was an unusual day for Misty and I. Scrappy was a magnet for this sort of thing.

  4. Happy (Belated) Birthday to Misty! She is a lucky dog, getting all those treats and toys, not to mention the daily nature walks. It's funny sometimes, what you find discarded along the way. The other day, we found one flip-flop. You'd think whoever lost it would be looking for it. Good thing Misty didn't get into the chili powder!
